As another pastor with workaholic tendencies, I don’t really need another thing to “do”; observing the Sabbath shouldn’t be just another in thing on my checklist.  And yet, as one who struggles with what it means to keep the Sabbath in a way that is generative and sustainable, and finds it hard to be disciplined about it, I’ve decided to engage in both Sabbath-keeping as an art and art as a means of Sabbath-keeping.

This blog is meant to be a discipline, a discipline of writing and creating and reflecting, for the sake of a more creative, energetic, and passionate discipleship and pastoral ministry.
